Elm is pale to medium brown, the wych variety has very attractive green steaks in. Course texture with bold attractive figure. Some boards have small pippy knots all over up to full burr patches.

The timber is hard, tough, clean working , and with carefull drying is fairly Stable.

Quarter sawn boards at 1" , 1.25" at £20/Cuft

Through and Through sawn boards some with wanny edges 1" to 4" at £12-£20/Cuft.

Burr and figured elm available at £20 to £30/Cuft dependant on quality.
