Sweet Chestnut (spanish) is similar in apperance to oak but not so dense and without the outstanding quarter sawn figure.

The timber is softer than oak, Clean working, and is very Stable.

Quarter sawn boards at 1" , 1.25", 1.5" and 2" at £19/Cuft

Through and Through sawn boards some with wanny edges 1" to 3" at £19/Cuft.

Horse Chestnut ia available as turning blanks or 2" to 4" boards at £14/Cuft
