Cherry is Pale yellow to light reddish Brown with some greenish streaks.

Fine even texture with natural silky sheen, resembling pale yew.

The timber is medium hard, tough, clean working, takes a fine finish. But not that Stable, it is a fine timber for turning and tables and chair's but in my opinion not suitable for fine cabinet work.

Through and Through sawn boards some with wanny edges 1" to 4" at £19/Cuft.

Stocks of Cherry and other interesting timbers are available as air dried branches.
