Beech is whitish yellow to light brown. Fine even texture with plane speckled grain.

The timber is medium hard, strong, clean, easy working and is farily Stable. A universal wood.

Through and Through sawn boards some with wanny edges 1" to 5" at £12-£15/Cuft.

Spalted Beech is boards that have been attacked by fungas and have some striking figure and patterns on ranging from yellow to orange and dark brown with black lines. Highly prized by woodturners and furniture makers. Priced at £17/Cuft
