Ash is white to pinky cream or brown.

Course texture with plain figure sometimes with large flash or ripple. The heart wood is sometimes a dark brown with yellow streaks and refered to as olive ash

The timber is tough, strong, but easy working. An ideal bending wood, and is Stable.

Quarter sawn boards at 1" , 1.25", 1.5" and 2" at £17/Cuft

Through and Through sawn boards some with wanny edges 1" to 4" at £12-£17/Cuft.
